Gordon Mason Nash · Photographer/Owner

Gordon is the owner and head photographer of A Paradise Dream Wedding which he established on Maui in 1998. He is an accomplished, internationally published wedding photographer shooting over 2000 weddings over the last decade. He has extensive photo journalistic experience and studied potraiture while attending college. Gordon established his first photography studio over 20 years ago and has been a success ever since. Gordon with his humor and warm heart has a special knack for making couples feel at ease while shooting. Gordon and his associates are members of the Professional Photographers of America. In 2006, Gordon was selected as the first wedding photographer ever to appear in a Nikon Camera Catalog. He is featured in the brochure with 8 of his photographs along side Nikon's new line up of professional digital cameras. Just recently an article about Gordon's photography appeared in Nikon World Magazine Spring 2008 issue. One of his photographs was just chosen as the cover shot for the Maui Wedding Association Wedding Planner for 2010. You can order this from the association or give us a call and we will send you a copy. In March 2009, 5 of Gordon's photos appear in the book 100 Techniques for Professional Wedding Photographers by Bill Hurter and published by Amherst Media. He appears along side some of the finest wedding photographers in the world such as Joe Buissink, Mike Colon, Jerry Ghionis, Kevin Kubota, Joe Photo, Yervant Zanaaznian and other renown photographers.

Keiko Shiba Nash · Photographer/Webmaster/Owner

Keiko is co-owner of the company and our webmaster. She is an excellent photographer and accompanies Gordon on some of his wedding shoots. Keiko has studied under Gordon Nash's guide as a second photographer specializing in photojournalism. Keiko photography style resembles world renown photographer Dennis Reggie. Instead of directing her wedding couples she blends into the background capturing fleeting moments of your once in a life time event. The extraordinary and discerning work of Keiko Nash reflects an elegance rarely seen in the west and is beautiful to behold. She was born and raised in Tokyo and majored in Business with a minor in Art History at Aoyama Gakuin University.

Eric Dahl · Photographer

Eric has a degree in Graphic Design from Spokane Falls Community College and is an artist at heart. Starting in 2005 he was trained by Gordon Nash for Professional Photography and is now making a name for himself in the Maui wedding industry. Eric's high spirit and light attitude help our clients stay at ease on their most special occasions. During his time at A Paradise Dream Wedding Eric has shot over 200 weddings of his own. "Every wedding helps me see my own development as an artist but also the difficulties of matching artistry with timing. Capturing beautiful moments that show peoples character is my most favored and difficult task."

Arien Sherman · Photographer

A graduate of the world-renowned Brooks Institute of Photography in Santa Barbara, CA, Arien Sherman marries his own brand of technical perfection to Gordon’s unique tropical wedding styling to create beautiful wedding photographs. Arien started working with Gordon in 2006 as an assistant and quickly went on to start shooting his own weddings for the company. Originally at Brooks to learn cinematography, Arien soon discovered that his hobby of still photography would become his life's work. Raised in California, Arien relocated to Maui two years ago from San Francisco. Once here, it didn't’t take him long to learn most of Maui’s most breathtaking hiking trails, and scuba diving spots. His appealing low-key and laid-back personality helps his couples relax and enjoy their wedding day photo shoots.

Ian Shepherd · Photographer

Ian's obsession for photography began circa four years of age, when he received a college zoology book from his mother. Throughout his life, he's marveled at imagery of wildlife, architecture, and character portraiture. When the time came to enter college, Ian simply couldn't decide on what form of art to master, so he chose Multimedia as his major with The Art Institute of Los Angeles, drinking in everything each field had to offer. Some time later, Ian visited and promptly thereafter relocated to Maui. Ian quickly connected with Gordon Nash in 2005 and the talent of the pair turned out to be a perfect match. After 2 years spent under Gordon working in the lab, Ian finally decided it was time to pick up the Nikon hardware and try his hand in the field under the guidance of Gordon Nash. His unique history and extensive knowledge rooted in post production gives Ian an almost unique sense of foresight in photography, knowing exactly what to look for after working on literally hundreds of thousands of images. Uniting technical mastery with artistic flair, Ian brings a new vision to Maui wedding photography.

Branden Sequeira is an accomplished photographer who has been working at A Paradise Dream Wedding since 2006. He moved to Maui from the spectacular countryside of Yosemite National Park in California, with over six years of experience in professional, wedding cinematography. His back ground in cinematography gave him a competitive edge as a professional photographer. Gordon Nash recognized Branden's natural talent and coached him to be successful in Maui's demanding wedding photography industry. His edgy, artistic style of photography and his laid-back, perceptive nature, has captivated the hearts of hundreds of happy couples. Jayanne Jefferys · Wedding Coordinator

Jayanne, a Maui Wedding veteran of 16 years, believes every wedding starts with love. Gallantly romantic, Jayanne guarantees your wedding planning will include lots of laughter with a large amount of happiness and confidence on your part. Jayanne’s extensive wedding experience spans all cultures and walks of life, from barefoot on the beach to Celebrity Destination weddings. Having enjoyed the fast pace and high intensity weddings at the world famous Grand Wailea Resort Seaside Chapel as Head Wedding Coordinator for five years, Jayanne is an expert in managing wedding emotions. After the tender kisses and tears of the ceremony, Jayanne’s extremely skillful and insightful reception planning is very much appreciated. Her competence honed by four years as Catering Manager for the renown Hailemaile General Store and Celebrations Catering, the premiere catering company on Maui. She has had wonderful job planning weddings at A Paradise Dream Wedding for over 4 years. Jayanne enjoys receiving yearly Christmas cards and birth announcements from her couples. “My dream is to make the couple’s dreams come true!”

Josephine Thurman · Wedding Coordinator

Born and raised on Maui, Jo will coordinate your wedding with true aloha. A graduate of the International Air Academy, where she prepared for a travel industry career, Jo moved from her island home to Los Angeles, where she worked at L.A. International Airport as a ticket agent for several major airlines. While with the airlines, she traveled extensively, visiting Paris, Australia, Jamaica and many U. S. vacation areas. After marrying another airline employee in L.A., Jo returned home to Maui so she could raise her children near parents and other family members. Before joining APDW, Jo worked at the five star rated Four Seasons and Fairmont Kealani hotels. Now the mother of two young daughters, Jo enjoys spending her time off with her family and going to the beach. She is going on her fourth year now with A Paradise Dream Wedding.

Joanne Earles · Wedding & Travel Sales/Wedding Coordinator

Joanne has had the pleasure of helping literally thousands of happy visitors plan great vacations on exotic South Pacific islands for the past 20 years as a travel industry destination specialist. Joining A Paradise Dream Wedding in 2006, she has expanded her services and expertise and combined her vast travel industry experience with a love of weddings and event planning. Her sharp eye for details and caring follow through make her a joy to work with on both travel and wedding arrangements. Originally from Virginia, Joanne moved to Maui in 2002 after she and her family visited this most beautiful island in the world and fell in love with Maui. It took her a year to complete the move, and, she says, about 30 seconds to send down deep island roots. Among her passions is sharing the island’s rare tropical beauty and unique opportunities for fun and frolic with her brides and grooms. Joanne loves to spend her spare time with family and friends on the beach and in the water.

Miwako Curtis · Assistant Wedding Coordinator/ Office Administrator

Twelve years ago, Maui's blue water drew Miwako here to dive amongst the tropical fish. But she got more than she bargained for.... a love of Maui that would not let her leave. Teaching Maui's visitors, as a Dive Instructor, to dive in our gorgeous tropical waters brought Miwako much pleasure and also led her to her husband, a fellow Dive Instructor. Enjoying her Maui wedding so much, she eagerly sought to participate in Maui's wedding industry. Working with a well known Japanese wedding company for over three years, took her all over the Island, to Maui's most beautiful wedding spots. Miwako speaks fluent Japanese and is a big help with our Japanese weddings. Her advice to our brides is to relax and enjoy the day dedicated to your love. Miwakos favorite part of weddings is the happy smiles at the end. Miwako, as Office Administrator, takes care of our billing and credit card payments and is great at helping the couples keep track of payment schedules. But she still has time to surf every single morning!

Della Peacock · Florist/On-Site Supervisor

Della Peacock, originally from San Francisco (of Ballet fame), has lived in Hawai'i for 20 years. Originally on Kauai, then Oahu, she finally settled on the beautiful island of Maui. Here, she has worked well over 200 weddings in the past 5 years, providing her unique insight and floral brilliance to the accolades of all. Being a florist is her creative personal expression, absorbing her natural surroundings and painting her interpretations of Ocean, Mountain, Sky and Nature's colors throughout her work. Wedding Design is a very personal expression of a Bride's vision and hopes. Della can speak with you on any detail with a personal friendliness that may surprise you. As an artist she can recognize your ideas and help you implement them in a special and unique way. All three of her children were born in Hawaii and she lives, with her husband, two dogs and seven cats, on a solar powered estate in the jungles of the Hana Coast.

Shena Koch · On-Site Supervisor

Shena's adaptation into helping us with weddings was like coming home for her. Always choosing career choices where she could help people be happy, Shena was ripe for the special chance to be a part of peoples biggest day!

Shena's strength lies in making people truly feel welcome and sharing the aloha of Maui. She is unflappable in the face of problems and amazing at instant solutions that add charm.

A true sun worshipper, her love of our outdoor beach weddings makes her a welcome assistant. Shena enjoys an excellent reputation for her sunny personality and competent wedding work.

Suzann Hudson · On-Site Supervisor

Suzann has enjoyed participating in weddings on Maui for over 21 years! She also took pleasure in designing and coordinating weddings in the snow of Lake Tahoe, Nevada for 10 years. Majoring in Art at College of Arts, Berkeley, California and Art Floral Academy, San Francisco honed her creative eye.

Her personal creed is to insist on excellence, which brought her to the Famous Grand Wailea Resort & Spa for seven years as the Head of the Floral Design Department Designing the picture-perfect wedding has been her passion, so much that she formed her own company, with events ranging from Movie Star weddings to under water scuba weddings. Suzann feels the most important detail to a successful wedding is relaxed couples and this is her passion to achieve.
