Our wedding was wonderful, it was everything we could have ever hoped for! Brother Al, our minister, was exactly what we wanted, and the ukulele player was also perfect.  The ceremony could not have gone any better if I had been there myself every day planning every little detail. If I had it to do over again, I would not have changed a thing.  Our family and friends that joined us for the wedding loved it also...I would recommend using you guys to anyone. We really enjoyed having Gordon as our photographer for only the biggest day of our lives!  He took so many pictures and they all look fabulous!  We really liked how easy going Gordon is.  A lot of photographers can make a couple feel rushed with all of the pictures that they are supposed to have. Gordon managed to get all the best shots, and just let us be ourselves throughout the wedding, cocktail reception, and pictures on the beach.  The sunset pictures that he took are amazing, but then again, all the pictures are amazing!  Thanks for everything!!

We were very happy with our experience with A Paradise Dream Wedding. We've both been married before and wanted a small, beautiful, stress-free, memorable, romantic, destination wedding. We got exactly that and it was even more beautiful than we could have imagined. I now understand what the "Aloha Spirit" is, (it was my first trip to Hawaii) our wedding was filled with it! Every player was so helpful and caring, we felt like these people really cared, not like we were just generic customers. The coordinator was fantastic. I really admire her as she has so many brides to look after which means a million details, she gave me peace knowing that even though I had never met her and was thousands of miles away from my wedding site, I could be confident that everything was being taken care of. This wasn't easy for me at first since event planning is part of my job, it was difficult to hand over the reigns to a complete stranger, but with Our coordinator's attention to detail, cheerful attitude, and patience, I was at ease in no time. Our Minister, Rev. Ken, was wonderful. He exudes so much warmth, as soon as you meet him you just want to hug him! He is one of the happiest people I've ever met. Apparently his nickname is the Hawaiian Dalai Lama. He gave us a Christian Hawaiian ceremony that was both emotional, spiritual and humorous all in one. I absolutely love Rev. Ken, his joyful personality is infectious. You can't help but feel good around him! I really hope I can see him again one day. He is such a great guy. Our photographers, Gordon and Arien were outstanding. They let us have input on the photos and it turned out to be a great collaboration of taking their expertise along with our specific requests to get the exact shots we wanted. They were so laid back, and didn't rush us which resulted in us being very relaxed. Our photos are so beautiful, we were ecstatic with them. Our videographer Carl was awesome too. He had the same laid back attitude and joked around with us. Our wedding DVD is very professional, above and beyond my expectations. My bouquet was breathtaking, even though the florist didn't get it exactly right. They had missed putting one type of flower in. I was very impressed with Our Coordinator however, when I let her know later, she followed up immediately with the florist for an explanation. I had my hair done by Jean and I highly recommend her. I was a little nervous at first having my hair done by a complete stranger a couple hours before my wedding but I found out that I had no reason whatsoever to worry. Jean came into our condo with a "take charge" attitude. She had her little suitcase with her and immediately found a chair for me and a plug in for her and set up within minutes. I showed her a picture of how I wanted my hair and along with verbally explaining, she had my hair done exactly how I wanted it and it was perfect. This was amazing to me, I can't even communicate that well with my own hair stylist. The one I've known for years! I didn't get my make up done but I'm sure Jean would be just as proficient with that. Jean told me she is a nurse as well, that really made me feel I was in good hands. She has a very caring personality and she has chosen her professions well. The location, The Cove, was truly magical. Actually magical isn't a big enough word to describe that place. We had gone down the day before to find out where the place was and to scout it out. You drive along this road and there is a lava rock wall. You park and then there is a doorway to the beach. I was walking along the rock wall and then turned into the doorway and my heart skipped a beat when I saw this beach. You think it looks nice on the website, well imagine it being 10 times more beautiful in person. It was the first time in my life when I could literally say "I can't believe my eyes". This beach is Heaven on earth. With the components of white sand, turquoise ocean, black lava rock, green palm trees and blue sky, it is a picture post card sight. I knew I had picked the perfect backdrop for my wedding. Later when I was showing photos to a friend she said "it looks like someone pulled a backdrop behind you guys, it looks so perfect". On our wedding day we arrived at the beach at 9:15am and after a bit of discussion with Rev. Ken and the photographers, we started very quickly. Rev. Ken played his ukulele as I walked "down the aisle" in bare feet, the sun was shining and we had the most wonderful ceremony. I'd like to thank everyone who was involved with making our day so memorable. I highly recommend A Paradise Dream Wedding to anyone who wants the most romantic day of their life.

I have to say that this was one of the most magical days of my life.  No stress. The flowers were beautiful!!   DeeJay was wonderful. The limo was excellent & the limo driver was as nice as he was cute. As far as Gordon – he is the best photographer!!  The photos tell it all.  He is amazing. Thanks to all at A Paradise Dream Wedding in helping us plan and make our wedding a great experience in Maui! Although the coordinator changed at the beginning of our planning, the subsequent contacts with Yvonne were efficient and well organized. The prices were clearly defined on the website making it easy for us to pick the package we wanted. There was good communication in regards to instructions on where to go, how to pay, and who to expect at the wedding site. The “Asian” hair/makeup artist was talented and made me look beautiful for the wedding. The wedding ceremony was wonderful with Kimo as our minister. Kimo was warm, sincere, and entertaining with his words and personality. Gordon made us look great in our wedding photos and we have received many compliments. We thank Gordon for the little extras he included in our package, it was greatly appreciated. The wedding video was nice but we would have liked to have a choice in the type of music included on the sound track. We had requested a cello but instead had a violinist attend. This mistake was a minor annoyance and did not dampen our wedding spirits. The wedding bouquet was beautiful and I only wish I could have brought it home to Canada. The location, South Malauka Beach, was convenient and picturesque for a sunset wedding. Everyone who attended the wedding enjoyed the ceremony Kimo officiated and liked the pictures and video. We had a wonderful time!

Gordon Nah is a superb photographer, who was professional and engaging throughout the wedding ceremony. We have received so many beautiful compliments on the photography and the great detail that Gordon was able to provide. We really enjoyed our Minister Rev. Al and how comfortable we both were feeling before during and after the ceremony. Our Videographer was also very professional, and we are very pleased with his work. Our Coordinator Wong was always available for questions I had. The makeup and hair lady was really nice and I received a lot of compliments on both my hair and makeup [too bad she couldn't take away some of the wrinkles :)] Chris was very kind and funny, and both made us feel at ease, and the Limo driver was professional and prompt. I hope we didn't make everyone's job more difficult, as we can be a little silly, and like to joke around. We were more than impressed with the level of service that we received from your company.  We couldn’t have asked for anything more, it was absolutely perfect. The flowers were beautiful, the location was perfect and the musician was wonderful and just so happened to play the song that I was hoping for, so that made my day.  The ceremony was perfect, not too long! and our minister was truly a genuine person that made us feel so comfortable.  Gordon and his assistant were great photographers, by far the best photos I have ever seen, and most of our friends and family have commented that they don’t even look real! We were expecting 48 photos and when we received our package we got a CD with over 400 photos so we could pick our favorites. 
I am truly impressed with everything and I am so grateful to Our Coordinator and her planning, she made our wedding so relaxing and simple.  Of course I had hesitations about having someone plan my wedding but she gave us everything we wished for and more, I felt so comfortable that I didn’t have any hesitations or worries going into the wedding day, we were able to truly enjoy our day, each other and our families and friends.  Both myself and my husband and truly grateful for giving us such a memorable experience, we are so grateful.  Thank you for being a part of our day

We are extremely happy with our decision to get married in Maui using APDW.  The location was beautiful.  Although there were several other couples getting married there at the same time, it hardly interrupted our ceremony.  And, from looking at the photos, it looks like we are the only people on the island.  It also gave us a chance to see the difference in what Gordon did versus other photographers...there is no comparison.  Family and friends still can't believe how beautiful our photos are.  They are different and unique from everyone else's that I have always seen.  You will not regret your decision to get married in such a wonderful place.

Coordinator: 10!  We had an earthquake the day before our wedding and a rain storm the day of.... Our coordinator was amazing though it all!  She rescheduled several times and was sweet and professional with us! 
Minister: 10!  Our minister was so poised!  He was so filled with love and happiness.  He made our day very special! 
Photographer:  11!  Gordon and his assistant were honestly top notch.  Gordon knew exactly how to pose us to where we would look the best.  He captured moments I cherished the most about the day.  All the while he maintained this beautiful calm disposition.  We feel lucky to have had him!  I've seen other wedding photos done by photographers on the island and nothing compare to Gordon.
Videographer:  10!  Our Videographer was able to make something amazing out of very little.  The editing was outstanding!  Our friends and family loved it as well! 
Flowers:  10!  I was afraid the flowers wouldn't look like the picture on the website and they were identical.  The day of the wedding they were fresh and beautiful
Location:  The location was serene and truly paradise.  I'm sure it's just one of the risks you take, but I wish there was not another wedding going on while ours was.

Cake & Toast:  10 - The cake was amazing - it looked exactly how it appeared on the website.  It was so pretty we almost didn't want to eat it - but it was as good to eat, as it was pretty.
Musician:  10  - I actually didn't hear the music at all because I was so caught up with everything else that was going on - but I did hear him sing the processional as I was coming down and it was the perfect choice - it made me tear up.  I heard him sing on the video (that we made) play back and he added another special touch to the day.
Hair & Makeup:  8
Location:  10 - I wouldn't have picked anywhere else.  I think the colors with the greenery and the colorful flowers were perfect - then add to that the water in the background - completely breathtaking.  Having the ceremony there and then beach pictures made for a diverse portfolio of pictures. 

On-Site Coordinator:  10 - The perfect on-site coordinator - I'm sorry forgot her name - she was amazing.  I was running late to the ceremony and was worried - she calmed me down and actually delayed the start of the ceremony so I could calm down and breathe a little before it started.  She ordered me a Mimosa, which totally put me at ease.

Cake & Toast: 7, the cake tasted really good, it just wasn't decorated in the style that I like, I wish I would have been asked if there was a particular way I’d like the cake to look, I didn't expect it to have so much "foofy-ness" to it, I imagined something more simple-elegant, smooth lines, less 1980s ruffles in frosting... but it did taste really good! and the pictures from the cake and toast turned out wonderfully!
Musician: 10+, our guitarist had the most beautiful voice, he was so talented, many of our guests we're brought to tears by his beautiful songs, he was great, (I wish I knew his name!)
Location: 10+++, the spot on Keawakapu beach couldn't have been more perfect, I’m so glad our coordinator called us the day before and moved us down the beach a bit more, the background was breathtaking, and what's best is even though we may have been making silly faces in some of the photos, you don't even notice because your eyes are drawn to our surroundings, this spot was PERFECT!
On-Site Coordinator: 9, she was super nice, and helpful in keeping me calm, and getting me ready to walk down the beach...  

We first thought about having a destination wedding we were a little bit nervous about taking that leap of faith that everything would turn out okay. After we found Gordon's website and saw the amazing pictures he took, and then saw that A Paradise Dream Wedding coordinated weddings too, we decided this would be the one for us, and we're so glad we did!! Everything
that we needed for our big day we were able to get, and everything went so smoothly at the beach. Also, we were able to get our photos back in time to share with our family at our reception back in Omaha, Nebraska. Everyone was so impressed by our photos, as were we, because they were so beautiful. The pictures were totally worth the money, and such a great way to look back at our wedding day.

This testimonial is quite long... but I couldn't stop saying enough about how wonderful of an experience we had... from the beginning to the end!! What an absolutely amazing experience we had getting married in Maui and our coordinators at A Paradise Dream Wedding made our wedding day seamless and unforgettable!! In the very beginning of our planning process, we "shopped" websites for Maui wedding planners and photographers. We came upon A Paradise Dream Wedding and Gordon Nash pretty early in our search but we kept researching at different websites... however something kept bringing us back to Gordon's website. We just couldn't get over how amazing his pictures looked and how well organized and professional the website is. We knew this was the company to go with for our special wedding in Maui. The very first person I spoke with was Michelle and she was so extremely helpful and excited to help us plan our wedding away from home. Our decision had been made so we booked our date. I was extremely surprised at how many decisions I was made a part of... I was pretty much under the assumption that I simply chose an "a la carte" wedding package and it was put together for me, period! However, Michelle kept calling me asking for my opinion and my decision on the details. Even though we were thousands of miles away, it was like I was planning my own wedding with the assistance of a friend on Maui!! The entire process of preparing the wedding was completely seamless and flawless. Michelle was always in direct contact with me and was always there to answer any of my "pre-bride jitter" questions! the day of our wedding. What an amazing day! Everything that Michelle had been coordinating for us was in place and the day went just as planned. Leading up to the ceremony was so relaxed and exactly what we wanted the day to be about, us and our love, not about all the drama and chaos that can come along with the actual wedding day. What an amazing group of people that were put together for us... Wilmont, our ukulele player was so friendly and an amazing singer... Kimo is such as kind-hearted, hilarious man, who had me laughing the entire morning... and Gordon and his staff was so awesome, he really captured all our candid moments of the morning, and the pictures were proof of our relaxed, well planned, extremely special wedding ceremony on Maui. We would recommend to anyone who needs a friend on Maui to help plan their dream wedding to use the coordinators and services provided by "A Paradise Dream Wedding"!!! Coordinator: 10- Our initial coordinator, Maureen, left the company towards the beginning of our planning process and we were very impressed with the way that
she communicated our situation to Our Coordinator and Yumi, who both did a wonderful job.
Minister: 10- By the end of the wedding, we felt as though Diana was a lifelong friend. She was very flexible in allowing us to write our own vows, and added warmth and humor to our ceremony.
Photographer: 10- Although my husband, a scientist, strongly disagrees that it is possible to give an 11 on a 10-point scale, Gordon exceeded all expectations. The pictures really are as phenomenal as you hear from these testimonials, and well worth the cost. Our friends and family were simply blown away by the quality, and many of them commented that they wish their wedding pictures were this amazing. Gordon is easy to work with and has a gentle sense of humor. We both can't stress enough how impressed we were with the quality of the photography.
Videographer: 10- This is a "must have" for anyone doing a Maui wedding. It was well worth the extra money to capture our ceremony and moments with our
wedding guests on tape. Our elderly relatives that couldn't make the ceremony felt like they were on the beach with us. We showed the video at our reception back at home and there wasn't a dry eye in the audience.... everyone loved the montage that was included at the end. Hide also has a wonderful sense of humor and captured some light-hearted moments that we might otherwise have forgotten in the gravity of the ceremony.
Flowers: 10- I chose a bouquet not shown on the website and the florist managed to match the picture I sent exactly. It still looked great when we left the island five days later!
Musician: 10- Our violinist, Cambria Moss, was a true professional. I am also a musician and wanted someone who would provide high-quality service. She did a
phenomenal job of pairing the songs we chose with what was happening in the ceremony, and always played at a tasteful dynamic level.
Site: 9- Originally, we had planned to be married at Makena Cove. However, due to a hurricane in the vicinity, the resulting seven-foot waves eliminated that possibility. We ended up caravanning to Po'olenalena Beach a few miles north, and had a wonderful ceremony. The only problem with this location was a few unthoughtful tourists who wandered into our wedding video during our first kiss. This made for great laughs at the reception!

There are many wonderful companies that will marry you on Maui, but we can't imagine one more professional or that provides a better service than "A Paradise Dream Wedding". Every aspect far surpassed our expectations; the photography alone is a reason to choose this company above all others. They truly made this the
best day of our lives!

A Paradise Dream Wedding is the way to go! There was no stress at all on this day. Regina (hair and makeup) was so sweet and made me look great! Kimo and Eric are the best!! We really enjoyed the conch shell blowing and the singing as part of the ceremony, Kimo really made us feel comfortable and relaxed. I was a little worried about Gordon being on vacation but I would recommend Eric to anyone getting married, he is an excellent photographer. My coordinator was changed in the middle of the planning but there were good notes taken, since the new coordinator had all of the important details that I had planned with the prior coordinator. This was a vow renewal ceremony for our 10th anniversary and I wish we had done the actual wedding this way.
